EMCET 2014 Details
Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education(APSCHE) has finally published the details of the EMCET 2014 Examination which will be conducted across the state. Every year the exam is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University(JNTU), Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE



What are the courses provided ?
Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test(EAMCET) is conducted for the students who want to pursue degree in B.Tech (Agri. Engineering, Food science and Technology, Diary Technology), B.Sc (commercial agriculture), and Biotechnology or in the field of B.Sc (Agri.)/ B.Sc (Horti.) and Medical line. Selected candidates get admission in various Government & Private colleges across the state.

Exam Pattern 
Looking at the exam pattern, this exam has a total of 160 questions of 1602 marks which contains questions from Physics, Chemistry & Biology.  Since the exam has no negative marking hence candidates can attempt all the questions asked in the examination.

Who can apply:
Candidates who have passed 10 + 2 or equivalent examination in Science stream having Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology as their subjects can apply for the test. Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks for the Medical fields & 40% marks in the HSC Examination & 40% for non Medical fields.

Age Limit: Age of the candidates should be above 16 years for non medical courses and between 17 and 25 for medical courses.

Official date of full notification: 10th February 2014
Date of Entrance exam: 17th May 2014
Date of Result: 9th June 2014
